Welcome to Stacback Ragdolls! Our names are Rick and Erin Campbell, a father/daughter duo. We are a small cattery located in Beckley, WV. Our cattery is registered with TICA (The International Cat Association) and RFCI (Ragdoll Fanciers Club International).
We first fell in love with the Ragdoll breed in 2004 when a friend of mine needed to rehome his two seven year old cats, Smokey and Ashes. These cats were sweet, friendly, and big and gorgeous. We had never heard of the Ragdoll breed but did lots of research once we brought them home. It was instant love. The second time was in June 2007 when we stopped by our local animal shelter and rescued a brother and sister duo. A Blue Bi-Color Male and a Seal Bi-Color Female; Big Boy and Cleo. By September 2007, we had fallen in love so deeply, we decided we wanted to spread the word of these wonderful cats. By December 2007 we had our first breeding pair, Sir Lancelot and Lady Guinevere. They have since been retired, but they were the foundation of StaCBack Ragdolls and we have continued their line with their daughter Queen StaCBack Rosalie and her daughter StaCBack's Royal Ravenna.
We love our ragdolls as they are a part of our family. Our kings and queens are our pets and are allowed to roam freely.
We are dedicated to raising healthy, beautiful, and social kittens. Our kittens are raised in a cage free, family environment, around other cats, dogs, and children of various ages.
We Do Not believe in the breeding of the "Rare Solid/Mink" Ragdolls. Please beware of breeders selling "Rare or Ultra-Rare Solid or Mink" Ragdolls; these Ragdolls do not follow the breed standard nor are they allowed to be shown. Ragdolls are a pointed breed that only come in Pointed, Mitted, and Bi-color patterns. Traditional colors are Seal, Blue, Chocolate, and Lilac. Other recognized colors are flame, cream, and tortie. They should also all have blue eyes. If your ragdoll doesn't have blue eyes, it is not purebred.
WARNING: Ragdolls are addicting! Once you own one you always will.
